  Everything was positive, especially the friendly and helpful staff. Everything I needed was provided and it was easy to get help and service.   I journeyed almost five months through SA. This was the best value for money accommodation I stayed at during the entire trip (note: I stayed at cheaper and much more expensive places during this trip). I liked the architecture, the nice spacious rooms (the rooms feel like small apartments rather than rooms), the friendliness and professionalism o... vad folk säger » f the staff, the excellent breakfast and pasta dinners, the well-functioning TV and internet (not always a given in SA), and the closeness to Wits Uni - Everything has been said before, no need to repeat it all again. It was a pleasure to stay, with everybody doing their all to make our stay as enjoyable and as seamless as possible, especially the managers Danny and Dimitri. A few things to note, breakfast IS included in the price, not immediately obvious on the website. Also, WIFI was being extended to all rooms as I left, it just gets better and better:-) Please ask for Danny's express check-out service when leaving. Highly Recommended..!!

  The staff was spectacularly attentive. They tried to adopt my 6 month old son and promptly set up a cot for him in our room. Our friend's room had a missing shower head and within minutes of arriving in his room, he received a call inquiring about the plumbing and moving him to another room.   We only used this place to start our trip through South-Afrika. It has lots of nice stuff to do for it's guest. A nice big jacuzzi, pooltable, sauna, you name it. It has a nice small colony of birds in de garden that you can feed. We had the little cabin in the garden which had a very nice shower and a great feel to it.   A friend booked me into Claires for which I shall be eternally grateful. Hospitality just doesn’t get much better. The staff are simply wonderful; they had exceptional attention to detail in their service and at the same tome are genuinely caring. What’s more, the location is ideal. My partner was on a working holiday and he appreciated the fast and reliable wifi (he was even able to use it by the pool!) and the easy drive to Sandton.
