  letsbookhotel.com secured deposit of r600 and due to lateness of checkin this was not visible to owners so they charged the full amnt again. letsbookhotel.com did phone and apologise, however, we await the r600 to be reimbursed - Marion Lodge is a good place to stay if you're in Joburg.   We only used this place to start our trip through South-Afrika. It has lots of nice stuff to do for it's guest. A nice big jacuzzi, pooltable, sauna, you name it. It has a nice small colony of birds in de garden that you can feed. We had the little cabin in the garden which had a very nice shower and a great feel to it. Excellent for an overnights... vad folk säger » tay. - Very clean and comfortable and over- the-top spacious. Everything a family would need for an extended stay (except a wine corkscrew). Great breakfast. Easy cheap shuttle to airport. Good price, facilities and location. Obliging staff.

  A friend and myself needed accommodation for one night before our train trip back to Cape Town. We have never been to Johannesburg and surroundings and were extremely delighted with our choice of accommodation. Peaceful surroundings, birdlife, beautiful and comfortable room, large garden with chairs and tables on the patio or outside, and every a... vad folk säger » menity you needed to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We arrived earlier than check-in time due and were immediately offered coffee and a plac - The staff were very friendly and very helpfull in every situation. The water meter had been stollen so we were without water for a good part of a day. The staff made sure we had water and hot water whenever we needed it. Wonderful breakfasts. Nice location in Johannesburg. Would stay again for sure.

  The pictures are as you find it. A beautiful boutique hotel. We had room 11 for a full week, which was a huge apartment with a big patio outside overlooking the pool and garden. It had a giant four poster bed, comfy and clean. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere about the place. The staff were always courteous and polite.   The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived late long after the office staff had gone home. The rooms are designed for self catering, very modern and rather chic. Its walking distance to local eateries so you don't need to drive.   Flintstones is very close to the main roads and offers easy access to the highways etc. The guesthouse has a very neat garden and swimming pool area and it feels homely. Secure parking.   The room we had was a bit hot, so they moved us into the next available room the next day, without us even asking for a change. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. It was very quite given that we were in Johannesburg. Worth way more than what we paid!! - Now here's a home away from home. I will absolutely recommend it.   Excellent place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent decore, excellent breakfast, and very, very clean. We will stay there everytime we travel to Joburg. - The receptionist was very friendly (I think his name was Isaac) and he explained everything regarding the room and breakfast very well. Very friendly.
