  the restaurant was fantastic and the rooms/grounds of the hotel were gorgeous. We were a little worried because we were in the smallest room in the place but it was a lovely room, so no complaints there - The quality of service and efficiency of all teh saftt, very impressive indeed !!!!

No buffet breakfast as it was off peak but the choices given to us were great.   Justin and Caine were the most amazing hosts looking after our every need. The warm welcome, the incredible bedroom, the grounds, the outdoor hot tub, the huge lounge and discrete bar area which allows you to unwind having explored the beautiful surrounding area. We left incredibly early on our departure day and Justin - Staff friendliness and willingness to assist in any way was outstanding. Breakfasts were varied and tailored to all of our needs. The privacy and space in our family suite was excellent with a child. It felt like a home away from home. The hosts willingness to assist and recommendations for day trips, restaurants, and spas was great!

  Highly recommend! Gay friendly. The staff and owners were friendly and welcoming with much interaction at check in/check out. They provided us with recommendations for wine/cheese tasting tour and assisted us with making this booking. The room and bathroom was large, clean and well presented. The place itself is stunning and offers privacy, relaxation and amazing views. The setting is luxurious and nothing is too much trouble, we were helped and given information on where to go that suited our tastes and was not jut repetitive tourist blurb.   The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good value for money. The area is quiet and a good place for a breakaway weekend. So much to nsee in the Franshhoek area. - The property was stunning. Rooms a throwback to an age gone by. - Great place and the room was really cosy. Really enjoy my stay!
