  Although its in the city, you don't get to hear to city noise and the views from the hotel are very nice - From arrival to departure, we were made to feel that we were guests and not just people to fill rooms. We would stay there again when next we visit Durban.

The design and re-use of an old building is such a clever idea and most pleasing to the eye. The chef at breakfast as well as supper and presentation was excellent. In fact, we would like to rebook at the end of April again. - The venue is situated at the habour, so we could view the activities of the harbour which was interesting. The venue is also very peaceful and quite, so if you want to relax, away from the "city in the city", this is ideal. We also loved the lounge area outside in the courtyard, so if you want to have your meal or drinks outside the restaurant, it makes it an excellent option.

With the exception of 1 member of staff we were very impressed with the way in which staff had been trained and the way in which they attended to every need of their guests.   The service was fantastic. We were welcomed by the owner who showed us to a lovely room with crisp white linen, tastefully decorated and very reasonably priced for the location! The bathroom was huge and the white towels soft and fluffy. Very friendly and efficient staff, going the extra mile. Just down the road from the HUGE Gateway Mall for shopping and restaurants...
