  I've stayed at Swissotel Merchant court a few times before this and still think its one of the best hotels. The staff will always try to accommodate me to my choice of room which has got a bathtub and shower. They greeted us with a smile every time we walk passed them. My boyfriend actually misplaced his wallet near the front desk. We received a call in our room and was told that a cleaner picked up his wallet (when he didn't even realize)! - It is definitely value-for-money when hotel provided full board meals (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) plus free flow of drinks from 6pm to 8pm.   Location was very nice, near Clark Quay, there's a shopping store just next to the hotel, taxi stand right next door. The pool was a surprise, didn't expect to have that nice pool for the price. The two bedroom apartment was large enough to accomodate me and my friends of 5 plus the built in laundry/dryer, kitchen and living room. To my surprise, the management sent a birthday cake to my room! Completely unexpected, and a really elegant touch. And just in case you were wondering, this was no cheap little thing, it was an 8 person fruit/sponge that was actually very delicious, and it took my partner and I 3 nights to polish it off!

  We travelled with a 10 week old, and they were great having a crib waiting in our room, and an upgrade so we'd be more comfortable. Also the kitchen facilities are lovely and handy if you need a break from eating out. Our room had everything we needed and housekeeping done a great job at keeping it clean and tidy.   An outstanding apartment with very friendly and helpful staff. There were excellent kitchen facilities to entice stay at home meals. Also there is a supermarket across the road. We were lucky to be upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment which made our stay even more memorable. It was easy to sleep due to the very quiet rooms. Singapore is very expensive, but Fraser Place is good value - we would definitely stay there again. - My Family and I stayed in a huge self contained 3 bedroom apartment which was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were more than helpful to answer any Questions we had and book us taxis etc. The breakfast buffet was small but adequate, beside the pool. We had lunch there as well, a couple of times, and the staff were all lovely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone,and I would stay there again if I was so lucky to visit Singapore again.
