Location was fantastic. Tips for the first timers, take the train as the whole road in front of the hotel is blocked for construction and the cabby will not be able to bring you to the front of the hotel. From the train station, come out from Exit D, walk all the way straight and turn right on Bencoolen Street and walk all the way to the end. Ta-da! Right in front of you! =D Take note that Exit D is a set of stairs, so if you're carrying luggage, take Exit C. When you come out, turn 180˚ and yo. alla recensioner »
A good, comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities. We requested a room at the back of the hotel away from the MRT building site (another traveller's recommendation). It was very quiet and the view across the City was lovely. 10-15 min walk to Raffles in one direction and the same in the other direction to Orchard Road shops. Very close to the MRT which was a quick, cheap way to travel around the City (2.20 Hong Kong dollars per person from the airport to the hotel).
Room are clean and comfort. near by food stall "Kopitiam" food good and cheap. internet access is free, suggest to have password through out the stay instead of asking daily with new password. staff friendly and fast service from housekeeping even a small issue commented but immediate action taken. I will come back to stay V hotel again in future visit.
We stayed in a studio loft for four nights.Everything was clean.Housekeeping services were excellent. There was a queen sized bed downstairs and when you walk upstairs, there's a single bed.perfect for family of three.location was gd.restaurant nearby:al jilani.air con:super cold but adjustable.
Modern, clean, and well-decorated hotel in a good location with a 5 minutes walk to metro Bras Bashar and 10 minutes walk to metro Dauby Ghaunt. A convenient 7-11 store next to the hotel as well as a money changer. 2 minutes walk away is a food court Kopitium that open 24 hours a day.
The Staffs have great service-mind willing to take care and helpful for everything. The hotel is so new (3-month old) and at the best location getting close to Kopitium and 7-11 (both are 24 hrs shop),MRT station, etc.
The hotel is bright new, it was perfectly clean, comfortable and staff is friendly. Location is convenient with subway station at 100m. Lots of restaurants around. We had a nice view from our room on 8th floor.
The hotel was clean. The staff were efficent and helpful. Though the rooms are small they were adequately furnished with every thing that you need. The hotel was a five minute walk to the train.
Very helpful staff, good location,Rooms very clean and well cleaned each day,Right next to MRT,Excellent value for money...Dont pay $250 plus per night in Singapore, Stay here its great value.
Really nice hotel, modern and very clean. Room had a good view of the city. No noise heard from the MRT construction. Close to MRT station. Good location. Good TV channels. Enjoyed our stay.
Excellent location with nearby restaurants and small shops; easy access to various locations from nearby train station and bus route. Helpful personnel and very good upkeep of rooms.
The hotel is very centrally located. The eatery downstairs is open 24
hours and can satisfy any late night cravings you may have. Very close
to Bugis market.
Our stay was fairly pleasant. Friendly staff, comfy beds, the room was always clean when we got back. They also provided two bottles of water everyday.
Good hotel , well located.
Basic and functional.
Pool is open 24 hours that is very good.
Silent and not disturbed by the maids to clean the room.
Not fantastic but good value for money and quite central also close to train, room and bathroom were bigger than other holels of a similar price.
Location, comfort and cleanliness is excellent. Train station and food court less than 3 minutes walk. Real value for money. Highly recommended.
The location is very strategic, near the MRT station and convenience store. The room is clean and has a modern interior, very cozy.
Very new and clean. The location is good and central and we were offered
complimentary internet connection, which we appreciated.
Bathroom very nice no more restaurant in the hotel building was look like new neares city hall good location good safety box.
The room is very cozy with modern interior. Location is strategic and many nearby shops which makes it very convenient.
Basic hotel in a central position. In Singapore you are out and about all day so it is perfect for us.
- near my office area (SMU)
- near 24 hours foodcourt
- near MRT
- near shopping center
- cleaniness.
I really like the fact that it is so close to the MRT station. Nice staffs. Clean and comfortable.
The price is very friendly compare with other location, MRT just few steps from lobby.
Perfect place. Easy access to subway. Cheaper than others. Clean rooms. And free wifi.
The place was comfortable, clean and close to all the places we wanted to visit.
The hotel was small and cosy, staff very friendly and eager to answer questions.
The security at the hotel was very good mainly concerning access to rooms.
Good location, rooms clean and modern but not spacious, staff helpful.
Excellent location and cleanliness. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Location is great and the staff is so helpful. Good value for money.
It was really great staff would like a room service started ;)..
Nothing much to expect but overall , good enough for short trip.
The hotel is still new and properly maintained.
Good location.
Overall is good and value for money we paid. Would recommend.

The room is clean, front office staffs are very helpful.
Its cheap. The patio is big. Its quiet in that area.
The position. New hotel. Soft bed. Clean new sheerts.
hope the price will be the same for regular custumer.
The hotel rooms are fair and good and I liked it.
Facilities, location and good attentive service.
Proximity to metro; good places to eat close by.
near ferry to Macau
Clean room
Nice staff.
Location, attentiveness of the staff.
Good location all basics available.
Location; proximity to where it is.
Good value for the location.
The sleek and clean setting.
The massive MRT development right outside the hotel which made it a little difficult to find at first, but if you catch the MRT from the airport and get off at Bugis Station or City Hall, it is in reasonable walking distance to Bencoolen Street. You can also locate the hotel from the Douby Ghaut station, but this meant changing trains at City Hall, so if you can google a map for directions to the hotel, it's probably just as easy to alight at one of the first two stations I mentioned.
The hotel is too deep inside the street and hard to find it, however may be is because of the MRT station renovation cause. a minor dislike but overall satisfied.
space: cramped up.suggest that if you want to stay in this room, better to take 2 cabin baggage a the most.we brought two check in luggage's with 2 cabin baggages plus a baby stroller.one check in luggage in the entrance.baby stroller in the cabinet.one check in luggage on staircase and cabin baggages upstairs.just to give a picture of how cramped up it can be but of course it was manageable.you just have to close one eye to not see how messed up ur room can be ;-p.
An ongoing construction of a new metro station in front of the hotel which might make the access to the hotel slightly harder, but the sign pointing to hotel direction is very obvious despite the daily change. This probably made the hotel price lower than what it could have been without this construction. Despite this, the stay was very quiet and peaceful (not noisy at all).
Construction in front of the hotel that make difficulty for taxi to sent us here everytime but that make the price more cheaper.
Restaurant is still under construction so no breakfast available. Room is tiny, but I guess it is a standard in Singapore. There is street work in front of the hotel to build a new subway station, so maybe ask for a room on the other side. We did so and it was super quiet.
This is being super critical but in close proximity to the hotel there is substantial construction work going on, getting a taxi proved difficult as the hotel entrance is masked by the road works...not a reflection on the hotel at all and the staff were excellent in trying to reslove the issue.
Bed was abit uncomfortable. Porter did not help us with our bags. We also left our bags there for the day after we had checked out and they were placed on a trolley outside the hotel. Although there were staff there all day and they have us a ticket to collect them when we returned no one asked us for it so we picked our bags up and left. We could have taken any of them and no one would have challenged us. Not the safest method of storing luggage!.
only two chairs in the lobby. if possible, please add 2 or more chairs for convenience of guests and visitors who would be waiting at the lobby.
Small room but that is typical in Asia. The bathroom was also compact.
Water from shower spills into sink area but that is also typical asian
design I have seen in other hotels.
The rooms were on the small side but hey great price for the location! Anyway we never stay in the room. Singapore is way interesting ;-).
Works in progress for the new MRT Bencoolen station makes the access complicated.
nothing was really wrong we had a pleasant stay.
Staff at times not very helpful.
The room is too small, but still ok for 2 persons.
Rooms are pretty small and the cleaning lady never cleaned the floors of
our room and bathroom (during our whole 4 day stay).
I m booked for four peoples but room a bit small no more places in the room.
My room was slightly small, but not too small. Just nice for 2 person.
Building work outside and not told about this on booking.
Room was so small but all facilities are complete. The access to hotel was difficult due to MRT's constructrion in bencoolen street.
Subway construction. But it was not noisy. Rooms are small.
The rooms were far too small, there was not a restaurant in the hotel.
a lack of space mainly in the room as far as a working table is concerned, the lighting switch next to the bed do not cut of the lights when needed so need to remove card that is very inconvcenient.
Main road closed for building work, access a little awkward.
Room size is extremely small as if it is a 1-star hotel. Poor sound-proofing walls & doors. And the tiled floor amplifies the sound of dragging chairs.
Very tiny room, the bathroom has no shower curtain.
Nothing exactly.
The construction of the mrt in the hotel's area. It affects the direction you need to tell the cab driver so he can drop you off in the correct location.
room bit small.
Hotel undergoing renovation/construction works, therefore surrounding areas seemed unpleasing. Should be different after works are completed.
Main entrance was closed because of mrt project, feeling inconvenience
at first sight as we have to check in from back office, no information
on this when we make the booking. Very surprised to find the room is too
small compared with 4star hotels in Bali (being a travel agent staff, my
family and me expecting more when we saw the image on internet :d ).
The room is small but it affordable.
Construction outside the building becoolen station. No noise but can be difficult to find the place. After 2nights wasn't a problem.
change to higher price.
The approach is very poor as there is construction work underway on the Road and better directions from the main road on either side will be helpful when youforst come in and all of the visitors I had were facing the same trouble.
Difficult to find and access; local road works and no breakfast facilities which we were advised off.
Rooms are small; wifi didn't work in room.
Last station of metro but it is not a big problem.
Room a bit too small.
Sad Internet connection. Its surprising to have such internet in a
country like Singapore.
Building of a new train station adjacent.
Easy heard the noise from hallway.
