Apartment owner, Svetlana, was excellent with her emailing, cleaning and helping us find our way around St Petersburg, also her son, Paul, was very good when he greeted us when we arrived, showing us places to visit and how to get there. We felt quite safe and comfortable in the apartment, it was quiet and Svetlana was excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sankt-Petersburg and were delighted by our choice of Kamerdiner. We would like to come back to this small (7 rooms) superb hotel (B&B) again and again! It is an excellent boutique hotel in a very good location. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

Great staff who took time to give us recommendations, give directions, etc. They also speak English well which was an important bonus. To reach the hotel from Nevsky Prospekt (one of St Petersburg's major shopping streets), you go from one courtyard into a second - the hotel is therefore separated from the street, eliminating street and traffic noise. The friendly and helpful staff, clean, fairly new renovation, a kettle, microwave, air conditioning, a small work table and dining table (we had a superior room), conveniently located (5 minutes walk to the bridge Anechkova), quite a decent breakfast, there is even book for those who want to read :). The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. They provided directions to the Metro, post office and other places of interest. They arranged tours for us as well as booking reservations for us in local restaurants. The staff were just incredible and so friendly.
The breakfast was included in the room and the breakfast was buffet style, with a very large and fresh choice of foods, and they would make eggs / omelettes if requested.
We had difficulty with our air conditioner and we advise
