  Great location, just a few mins walk to the Hermitage and metro, and close to most of the sightseeing spots. Staffs are all friendly and helpful, speak good english. Pluses: great location, comfortable and clean rooms. I met a lot of interesting people there. The staff is very friendly, they helped me orientate in St. Petersburg and also showed great places to party! When I stayed at hostel it was celebration of masleniza (something like this) and the staff organized the party - it was really great!   A very cosy and comfortable hotel. As far as we understood there are about ten rooms in the hotel and it is located in a historic building in the heart of the city. There is no lift in the building so you will have to go up the stairs to the fourth floor. We stayed there for one night only on our way from Kostroma to Helsinki.   Very nice, friendly staff. There was Pancake week and one day they treat everybody to pancakes (in addition to usual breakfast). Everything is comfortable: all the necessary facilities, the kitchen,where the guests can have tea or coffee at any time, it's clean and calm in the room. And very good location! - Hotel location is EXCELLENT, walking distance to a lot of attractions and restaurants(/fast food). There is a bus stop just opposite the hotel if you need to go to Moscow train station. Our room was cleaned every day. The receptionists are friendly and speaks english. We loved the breakfast, there are 5 choices and served at your preferred time. Wifi is good.

  The location is virtually the best in Saint Petersburg. Very easy to find, very close to the metro, the main street full of restaurants and 3 minutes walking from the Hermitage Museum. Very clean, very simple, shared bathrooms (but clean) and a normal breakfast.   Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and facilities. We appreciated iron and desk in our room, so as heated floor in the bathroom. We had superior room: spacious, with 2 windows looking to the Moika river. Very calm. Hot and cold water with tea@coffee on every floor. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

  Excellent! The double room with Santa Clause on the fenster is very cosy. Plenty of space, good pillows, huge blanket, 4 spacy shower rooms - it all makes a good proof for the hostels' slogan Feels like home. Simplehostel made my staying quite memorable.   Very friendly staff with good English. Super clean, separate showers and toilets which helps avoid queues. Comfy bunks in dorm room - didn't squeak and move around like most dorm bunks! Excellent location, practically next door to the Hermitage. Very pleased to see there is a lift as it's on 6th floor! - AMAZING location, just a couple of minutes... vad folk säger » on foot to Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaacs and the Hermitage.
