  A very cosy and comfortable hotel. As far as we understood there are about ten rooms in the hotel and it is located in a historic building in the heart of the city. There is no lift in the building so you will have to go up the stairs to the fourth floor. We stayed there for one night only on our way from Kostroma to Helsinki. It is right by a canal and views are beautiful, even when you are having breakfast (which is also very complete by the way). Besides it is very easy to get to the center from there and metro stations are very close if you want to move farther away. This hotel is really a bargain given its quality.

  Friendly, caring and friendly staff. We celebrated one of our friend's 50th birthday with dinner in one of the hotel's resturant (Red Room) Very nice service and nice pesronal. Good prices and a 5 min. walk and then only 2 metro stations from the center - Hotel Neptun is the best choice of money/conveniences.
