The room is OK for the price, ordinary beds, a fridge, bathroom OK; personel arranges immigration-registration, they store your luggage upon request. They provide weather-information as well! Helpful to know some Russian, as knowledge of English is limited. Exerything was just fine, the staff is friendly, they accept visa and mastercard, they registrate foreigners (for 50 rub extra) and store ypur luggage on request (for 20rub a day). The location is great and the rooms are comfortable.
alla recensioner » Being located just next to the modern Marriott hotel, Fatima offers perfectly adequate facilities at a fraction of the price. The staff is very friendly and the location brilliant. The location is exellent - near Kremlin, metro station and Bauman street where are a lot of cafes and restaurants. View from the window is not great but the street is really quiet. The one of the best hotel locations seem to be possible in Kazan and very good and friendly staff. All seems to be good enough as the money cost is rather low. The hotel stay right at the historical center of Kazan. It's quite and clean. Great location and amazing value for money. Recommended! Very clean as well. location, price. price location. location. The location close to Kremlin, clean, friendly staff. Location, helpful staff. Breakfast included, however that only goes as far as breakfastitems up to 50 Rubels in total. (two cups of tea.). This means that for a somewhat solid breakfast you have to pay extra, although not much. The staff does not speak too much English. You can hear your neighbours or people passing in the corridor. Shampoos, hair dryers and other stuff is given on request for some extra rubles. Breakfast was "included", but after having had a quite moderate one, it turned out that we had exceeded the breakfast budget by the double and had to pay extra. There wasn't hot water in the shower. Maybe some kind of "information board" about all hotel facilities (at the reception room) will be useful for clients. (Maybe it is there but I did not see it.). There's a small cafe in Hotel and it's not good. We even could not finish our dinner. Tasted so bad. Bed was a bit rubbish but acceptable. nothing. meal comfort noise. small rooms. There were some groups of schoolchildren at that time in the hotel, we didn't like the noise. Confusion over registration documents and lack of patience when dealing with foreigners, we had to call our English tour operator at our expense to sort it out, made check in very uncomfortable Dried snot and squashed flies on walls. No clear male shower on floor and mouldy female shower Could not get wifi to work, logged onto local network instead. the room is very hot without even a fan in summer. its wifi does not work at all. No english is spoken, room was a bit small, bed too soft, location not too close to downtown, a bit isolated neighbourhod. Shower was very basic but adequate. Scrawled cyrillic on menu in cafe difficult to decypher. Slightly hard to find - hidden behind the big hotel next door.
