We absolutely loved our stay at The Museum Hotel and didn't want to
leave. I read so many varying reviews on the hotel before making the
booking and after staying here can confidently say that it was one of
the nicest places we have ever stayed. I don't know what other

I thought the place was fabulous! My 11 year old and 17 year old were very happy and comfortable too! The location is excellent and we made use of the cafe and proximity to the museum and courtney place buses and eateries! Would definitely stay here again and even my husband enjoyed viewing all the various art works. 9.5/10

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment within a hotel complex meant that we could all be together in a spacious & comfortable setting. Very friendly & obliging right through from reception & concierge staff to the valets/porters & housekeepers. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again. After being delayed by weather and airlines for 2 days, we arrived at the Copthorne quite tired, frustrated and disappointed that our three night stay had been reduced to just one night. Thankyou to your staff that night.We arrived in from Sydny after 1 am without our bags and only the cloths we were wearing. We had a 8 am departure that morning and they kindly arranged for our cloths to be washed and ready by 6 am.
Nothing was too much trouble and they definately "went the extra yard"
Our thanks to them again.

The staff were excellent, we loved the CBD location with flat walk to just about anywhere in the CBD. Close to the sea front, train station and many tourist attractions. Really good restaurant with excellent menu. Great room, very comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom, full mini-bar and stunning views across the CBD from our room. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

The hotel didn't actually claim that payment which resulted in a
dispute on departure when I rightfully said I'd paid. That left an

I really liked the convenience of the location - right by Lambton Quay and Queen's Wharf, but not far from Courtney Place etc either. We had a nice, quiet room that was spacious and well laid out. It was great having a shower that wasn't over a bath (safer!). The beds were really comfortable. The air-conditioning was quiet. Taxis were very handy,

Efficient location, good room layout for a small Studio style, all staff were very friendly and acknowledged us - from the reception to the staff tending to the rooms & in the service lift to cap park. As ex Wellingtonians, it was great to find somewhere stylish but modest where we now know we can have a good stay in the city at a good rate for a weekend. -
Room was clean, comfortable and adequate for our needs. Access to and from carpark facility was excellent, safe and secure although it was a little tight in places especially if you own a large car. We ordered the full buffet breakfast. The selection of food available was excellent and the discounted price was an added bonus. Staff were friendly and inviting.

Good location, everything functioned well, clean, helpful no-frills front desk. We did not use restaurant facilities.
Anyone considering booking should note that taxis drop off and pick up in Gilmer Tce, which is level with 7th floor reception, walk along well lit underground carpark. Take lift to ground level, then walk down Plimmer Steps to get to Lambton Quay. Lift does not go right down to street level.

An oldish hotel starting to show its age, but still a very comfortable and spacious room. It was my second stay at Brentwood, so they are doing something right :-)
Staff helpful and friendly. Nice and quiet despite the airport being so close, and having a group of teenage basketball players in the rooms alongside mine.

While the room was quite basic, the bed was extremely comfortable and the linen very clean. Also, despite the very central location, my room was very quiet. The staff are the biggest asset to this hotel, they were so professional and friendly and no matter what time I left my room or what time I returned, it was always serviced upon my return.

The bed was so comfortable!! The location is outstanding, the price was very affordable, and the staff are fantastic - always friendly and helpful.

Very good location. Clean with great showers and comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A nice enough kitchen for my needs. I found my bed in a hostel style room to be quiet by city standards. Most people seem to go out to party but the atmosphere is still good.

I stayed at female dormitory with a shared bathroom. Which was handy. Very good location to go to anywhere as it is in downtown. Also there is a bar in a same building and they provided beers with a good deal. Each staff was friendly and I enjoyed conversations with them.

We arrived early for check in & asked if we could store our luggage. We were allowed to check in early because the room was ready. It was much appreciated. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception were friendly on arrival and there was nothing which was too much trouble. We liked the rooms, the location to what we wanted, the nice smile from the counter staff , the cleaning of the room.. even though we did not put the ' clean room' sign out, The care of the manager /owner when the quake struck with a cold beer.The blankets given when the fire alarm went ...after standing outside for ages.
