  Very unfair to make a reasonable comment of this question, we arrived just after 6.00pm had to be at our event breifing by 7.00pm didn't get back till after 8.30pm had take away tea then in bed to be up at 4.00am fo complete our event, so as you can see just a quick stopover. - I liked the big Spa Bath. Many rooms were occupied and yet it was not... vad folk säger » noisy at all, really quiet. The heater took a while to heat the room but it worked very well throughout our 1 night stay.

  It was clean, hotelier recommended the local english pub for dinner up the road - great recommendation by the way. Nice and quiet even though it was fully booked. Great location. - Hot spa in room was lovely. Room small but clean comfortable and all we needed. Staff were very pleasant and being beside the lake was great.

  The reception staff were very helpful and friendly on arrival. The bar very cosy, with open fire....very nice. The food was great and lots of options for the kids, the whole place was extremely child friendly.   Extremely helpful staff making arrangements for our shuttle to Tongariro Alpine Crossing and for an excellent fishing guide, Tim McCarthy. Food is excellent. They cooked for us one of the trout that we caught. - Our family is enjoy living Tongariro Lodge,We will come again next time.

  My wife and I would like to say that the receptionist was very accomadating and helpful not just for our stay but about the things we could do and go see in the area - the resident dog was also very friendly.   We stayed at the plateau for 5nights and it was absolutely fantastic. Andrea the owner and operator was a very kind and forthcoming lady and had many suggestions on what to do as wet weather alternatives. The room was immaculate and beautifully arranged. With the station restaurant just down the road, its a complete packa - A family runned lodge, that have build up a very nice accomodation to stay near tongariro. Very friendly and helped us excellent throughout out planning of the trip and were also helpfull during the stay. The ensuite room was equipped with a fridge, we also liked the complementary hottub! The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen and lounge area, and they also provide a shuttlebus pickup to the tongariro crossing.

  The rooms at the Chelmswood Motel are warm and comfortable and in Taupo in the winter this is very important. The hosts Odette and Tony are very friendly and helpful and it is no trouble for them to assist you in any way they can. Would like to stay again in the summer to make good use of the outdoor BBQ and out door furniture and watch the sun go down and hopefully watch a loverly sunset with my wife whilst enjoying a botle of wine.

  We were very impressed with all the staff namely Kent, Diane & Lin. They were very accommodating and made our stay really safe and enjoyable.
