  Good, modern hotel. The room had a good view of the harbour and cruise ships docking. Very good value. Staff very friendly too. - Wonderfull view, wonderfull room - perfect!

  It's an excellent balance for anyone looking for good value for money that doesn't sacrifice comfort, cleanliness and location. - I liked in this Hostel cleanliness. I have never had this kind of experience with hostel.

  The historic associations of the Hotel and location. The room was a four star one and was excellent. We liked looking around the hotel and finding out more of its history. Some reviewers inaccurately reported the hotel as being a prison previously. Perhaps some of the lower starred rooms may have appeared cell like but ours certainly wasn't. - Styl... vad folk säger » ish and unusual refurbishment of this interesting building, with its lofty dining room and various surprising features, make this my favourite hotel in Amsterdam. The waterside location isn't central, but it's appealing - and it's fun cycling there! - Intelligence and kindness of the whole staff, its library, its restaurant and its affordable menus, the design and originality of each room, the facilities offered to go downtown, the view and proximity of the water. The reasonable price of the parking.
