  We found the hotel to be clean, quiet and efficient. Giels the owner could not be more helpful and takes great pride in his hotel . Once in a while you find a gem and this is it. Although not cheap it is worth it. Would I use again? - yes. In fact I have already booked it for next year. - A very nice host who is very helpful with everything.   Hotel in an original setting (a former prison, with the steel doors still present) and a central location (not difficult in Roermond). Very confortable rooms (most complete bathroom kit ever, even includes washing cloth), excellent restaurant, friendly and helpfull staff, computer available for hotel guests), etc. Definitely worth a detour.   The location is fabulous! Located about 100 meters from the main square in Sittard. There are 20 restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Being in Brunssum for business it was well worth staying out here due to the variety of options available after the working day.
