  The location is very good just opposite train station. There are two supermarkets around the block especially Jumbo supermarket which provide a wide range of bread and muffins. There is a green eateries located just beside Jumbo which served quite nice fried noodles and a mobile fish snack store which served very nice fish fillets, very fresh.   The bed was comfy (memory foam) and the room spacious. Good air conditioning as it was 31 outside. The shower is a wet room type, clean and modern. Big fluffy white towels which we love. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We will stay again as we visit Leiden often. - Great location - very central. Friendly reception staff. Good choice at breakfast, although continental, there were a few cooked items, and everything was regularly replenished. Room was light and airy, with lots of space and a comfy double bed. Bathroom/wet room included a sun- shower (no goggles though!) Tea/coffee facilities in room. Two hot tubs and roof terrace.

  me and my boyfriend fell in love with this modern luxury apartment and are organising a trip back. Jacky the owner couldn't do any more for us during our stay and was so helpful and welcoming. the kitchen was equipt with dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, coffee and sugar, with plenty of toilet paper in the bathroom, more than enough. the room... vad folk säger » was cleaned and beds changed during our 4 night stay which was great. the apartment is modern, super clean and tidy and even better in real life than - We loved everything about this apartment. Jacqueline has made it a charming place to stay. The tasteful decor, the large bathroom, washing machine, cute courtyard, fully equipped kitchen with starter supplies, and the location made it the best place we stayed in Holland. The self check in worked easily from Jacqueline's instructions and she also sent advice on where to park. There was a television in the lounge area and another in the bedroom.   Lovely room, comfortable beds, nespresso machine was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good with a choice of cooked dishes and a cold buffet. The spa had just opened but we had forgotten our swim suits. Location was very good. Easy stroll to shops and restaurants and the station was a 15 min stroll along the canal, or you can catch the bus from ro... vad folk säger » und the corner. Gaston and the other staff were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble. We used their parking at a cost of 12 euros per night. - The location, facilities and above all the staff who were very friendly and helpful. This was especially true when I caught "Dutch Flu" and they let us stay in the room for an extra 2 hrs until it was time to go to the Airport - Gaston's suggestion. Also Gaston's mum who runs a shuttle service to the Airport deserves a positive mention. Thanks again.

  Mayflower is a nice hotel in a peaceful, small city. People at the reception are very kind. They are ready to answer to your all questions. The price is reasonable. The service is good. It is in the city center but not too far from the train station (only 5-minute walk). If I come back to Leiden I will choose this hotel again.

  This is a friendly hotel. There is no fuss checking in or out. The rooms are lovely and the beds are comfortable. I had a lovely nights sleep and would certainly use this chain of hotels again as my first choice if I can. - Hard working and friendly staff

  It was very clean and comfortable with reliable service. Being so close to the central train station is a big plus. They also were very accomodating regarding storing luggage pre and post check-in time (to correspond to flight times). - The quiet location and the efficient heating.
