  A very nice place to stay with friendly and especially helpful staff. Breakfast is good, the place is spotless, and it is to very close to the sights, and the train station. Since it is a docked boat it is also very quiet. Don't forget it is a boat cabin what you will get. If you have accepted that, than you find this place very much to your likin... vad folk säger » g. - The price and location are good, and it's interesting to stay on a canal boat. In the summer, this boat cruises the waterways of France. As long as you expect cramped, boat cabin accommodations and a staff of one, it's fine.

  We stayed in the basic room. Though very small, it was very well equiped, nothing was missing, from hair dryer to coffee facilities. The view was very nice, right on the Amstel river, giving you the sensation you were actually floating. It has good heating, sound-proof rooms and is situated relatively close to the center - 10 minutes walk to Rembr... vad folk säger » andt Square. Mirjiam was very nice, delivering breakfast every morning to our room. It was very clean and cosy. There was no reception, so you were on - Stayed in the suite - nicely decorated, tons of kitchen tools, two 2 piece bathrooms, lovely continental breakfasts each day and hosts that were very friendly and eager to please. The host also provided a ton of detailed directions for us before our arrival. They were also very responsive to our emails and texts.

  We loved everything! Except the stairs. Our room was up 5 floors of steep stairs but if you can get over that... The rest was awesome! Extremely clean, very large, very well equipped, great bathroom, large kitchen area, special comfy beds and very modern.   I certainly recommend this place as an excellent base for exploring the city of Amsterdam, whilst being able to retreat to a nice peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle. I emailed Rene before our trip and he gave us some excellent advice regarding transport to the boat and how to get about during our stay. When we arrived at the station we went outsi - The location which was quiet, the breakfasts were great, the bed was large and very compfortable,the coffee maker, the cleanliness of the place the most important of all to us. The weather was so cold and awfull for our trip, we spent a lot of time on the boat, it was warm, there were hundreds of good DVDs so we watched loads, and fed the swans, and ducks through the open window!
