  A fabulous apartment - lovely interior design and every comfort - and wonderful hosts, Dennis and Vincent, who could not have been more helpful with restaurants etc. The apartment is in a great central location but not noisy, close to metro, supermarket and easy walks around city to museums. Exceeded our expectations in every way (lots of little treats as well!) Fantastic location to see the real Amsterdam (not just the red light area) Vincent was fantastic and gave us heaps of valuable tips which made our trip. We would definently stay here again!!   It's a really a great place to stay at in Amsterdam. All that is said about the apartment and Guido the landlord is true. We had a fantastic time here, the center is really just 10-15 mins of walk, the place is silent and has a nice view on the Amstel river. The Canal Cruise has it's stop just on the opposite side, so you can take two lines just b... vad folk säger » y stepping out. I can recommend this place for everyone - Really nice to go "home",after a day of walking and sight seeing, and relax with a nice bath(huge clean tub)and a cup of herbal tea. We also saved money buying a muffin the night before and have our coffee and muffin in the am. before going out. The location is very convenient to all canal boat stops, on a quiet street in a pleasant neighborhood.

  My host was very nice! The place was nice and comfortable. It's like a home away from home. It was quiet except for the church bells ringing nearby but given all the possible noise somewhere else, I'll take the church bells anytime! Also serves as an alarm clock for 8am. If the other occupants are rowdy the host will tell them to be quiet.
