  A fabulous apartment - lovely interior design and every comfort - and wonderful hosts, Dennis and Vincent, who could not have been more helpful with restaurants etc. The apartment is in a great central location but not noisy, close to metro, supermarket and easy walks around city to museums. Exceeded our expectations in every way (lots of little treats as well!)   The staff at the hotel were very efficient and friendly. Check-in took about five minutes in the queue, but only 30 seconds to complete once at the desk. The hotel is clean with a contemporary design and the rooms were very well equipped withan applemac that doubles as your tv and radio links and free WiFi and internet in the hotel. We have stayed in various budget hotels that have come nowhere near the same st - We liked the location - very accessible/walking distance from the central train station and to the city center. Guests can simply pick up anytime, free bottled water, and apple/banana at the reception area. The warm cookie for incoming guests is a nice way to welcome everyone. Wifi works well. Breakfast is very good - a lot of choices. The sky lounge is a good venue to relax in the evening and one can get ample view of the city. Room, toilet/bath, bedsheets, pillows, etc. is clean - as expecte

  Staff were so friendly and helpful, the hotel modern decoration and outlets with fireplace were so delightful. Rooms were big enough with the modern touch. Overall, this hotel is a masterpiece, every detail had a touch of Art.   Fantastic location just round the corner from Centraal Station, was easy to find - its basically above the Resin coffeeshop. Beds were alright for a short stay, good enough kitchen facilities for us to cook up a couple of very tasty meals. Decent size bathroom with a good shower. Smoking was permitted which was great for us - you can request non smoking if required though. - The owner of the apartment was great! He was very helpful. The apartment was value for money. All the facilities were excellent and the location is perfect with a multitude of shops, restaurants and bars close by! I would recommend and definitely will be booking to stay again!

  Friendliness of all hotel staff, the feeling that I was staying at someone's home rather than a hotel. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the Lounge were great.   We loved the fact that the room was absolutely silent and bliss for a good nights sleep. The large size cosmetics were terrific as it meant we could enjoy a proper bath without running out of bath foam! The breakfast room is very grand and overlooks the manicured rear garden. Staff are extremely polite and will go out of their w - All of the staff were gracious and solicitous. Our room, though without a canal or garden view, was beautifully designed and exceptionally quiet. One of the reasons we chose Canal House was the garden which exceeded our expectations as a comfortable and beautiful place to chill out, read and enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif. As I needed to rest my foot one day, it was a particularly welcome amenity.
