  Maud was very helpful and wanted to check with us daily. She helped out with any needs we had including the use of other rooms in her house. The room was quiet yet close. - Maude is a really nice host of a truly beautiful house. Made us feel very comfortable. super location... close to everything we liked to visit.

  I loved everything about it. The location was amazing, literally a 5 minute walk to dam square. The bed was really comfy, the bathroom and whole apartment was very modern and stylish yet extremely cosy.   On our arrival at the apartment our host, Hein, was waiting for us out the front of the building. So the personal greeting was a good first impression. The apartment was clean, well presented and comfortable. Breakfast was available at a local cafe and offered a reasonable choice from the menu. Hein was a perfect host and very accommodating. This was the first stay on a two week trip. If I could have wrapped this room and taken it with us for the rest of trip, I would have! Extremely clean, bright, radiant heat in the bathroom, delightful and very helpful host, and the beds are sooooo comfortable.It was a delight! Stay here, you won't be sorry.

  Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience, me and my wife have been in many places of the world, but this experience was the best by far. The hotel has an excellent location, right on the picturesque Prinsengracht canal surrounded by boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Te owner Martin was fantastic, and very helpful, and made us feel right at home. The rooms, were very spacious, elegant - The location and views from the suite could not be bettered. The suite itself was large,spotless,very comfortable,warm and with excellent ensuite facilities. The manager,Thomas,was incredibly welcoming,helpful and spoke perfect English. He also prepared an excellent breakfast which was eaten overlooking the canal. We would highly recommend and without doubt would return. Thank you Thomas for all your help. Robert and Joyce.

  We recently stayed 3 nights at the Palace B+B and loved every minute of it! I was only staying for one night en route to Africa, but they were very accommodating in every way. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable. They thoughtfully provide breakfast in the room so that guests can have it at whatever time is best. Also, the location is excellent--very walkable to many if not most of Amsterdam's major places of interest. One note: the two flights of stairs are steep, so that may be something to consider.
