  We loved the fact that the room was absolutely silent and bliss for a good nights sleep. The large size cosmetics were terrific as it meant we could enjoy a proper bath without running out of bath foam! The breakfast room is very grand and overlooks the manicured rear garden. Staff are extremely polite and will go out of their w - All of the staff were gracious and solicitous. Our room, though without a canal or garden view, was beautifully designed and exceptionally quiet. One of the reasons we chose Canal House was the garden which exceeded our expectations as a comfortable and beautiful place to chill out, read and enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif. As I needed to rest my foot one day, it was a particularly welcome amenity.

  The room was spotless,the bed so comfortable.Cushions if you want to read in bed or watch TV,a large flat-screen with a teriffic picture.The walk-in shower was great too,along with the air -conditioning.There is a safe for peace of mind. When arriving in Amsterdam, we walked from the station to the hotel about 10 minutes but did take a cab to the airport when we left; the hotel made arrangements for us.   Wonderful 18th century style house in an extraordinary location in one of the most beautiful cities ever. We loved the hotel's room which perfectly blended modern convenience with the charm of the city and of Flemish paintings. Wholeheartedly recommended. - The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Anything we needed they provided including helping us with our luggage and calling a cab for us.   The location of the hotel was really close to all the hotspots within Amsterdam! The breakfast was simple but it was great for the money and it filled you up and got you going for the rest of the day. The toilets and shower were clean the majority of the time minus a few when it had just been used! And the beds were very comfy. In my opinion for the money it was a great place to stay when visiting Amsterdam! - Staff were always friendly and happy to help with anything. Wifi was available in the room and the breakfast was always good. The room and all the toilets and showers were extremely clean. I was a little worried about shared showers but caused no issues at all. This couldn't be better located, 5 mins from central station, shop right outside, restaurants close by and bike rentals available right outside. 10 out of 10
