Bivouac Erg Chebbi provides accommodation in traditional Berber tents in the Sahara Desert, a 5-minute drive from the village of Merzouga, and by the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
The traditional tents feature local fabrics and guests have access to a shared sanitary block. A traditional breakfast is served daily, and you can enjoy local specialities at the tented, on-site restaurant.
Bivouac Erg Chebbi can organise local folk entertainment for guests, as well as a variety of tours such as camel rides, quad biking and hiking excursions. Transfers are possible on request.

Hassan gave us a great welcome and after just 2 days I felt that he was a friend for life. He is a good organizer and yet considerate for travelers needs and requests. The camel rides were a great success and the spectacular desert scenery was refreshing and the night so quiet and star filled. Well done to everyone connected to this Holiday. Absolutely awesome trip to the desert! Everything was taken care off.
The price covers everything, including the camel ride their and back,
the dinner at the camp and the breakfast in the morning at the village.
The tents are very comfortable and the utilities are available. Our
guides were awesome guys and made sure that we had an experience of a
lifetime. Thank you very much for this unforgettable trip!.
I would recommend this place highly. Hassan and Mohamed, all I can say
is thank you for everything. The food was great the ambience was great
and the conversation was great. We didn't want to leave and we want
