  Precillia has been very helpful in giving out information about what/what not to do in kota kinabalu! The room is very clean and a moderate size for two people occupy in one room! The house overall is fully equipped with all the things that u need u can cook watch tv and we even wash our shirts once were back from the beach!   We arrived just after having stayed in the jungle at Sepilok (which was after days of diving and a long bus journey), so we really needed somewhere clean and comfortable. The Sheraton Sandakan far exceeded my expectations on both fronts. It was extremely good value for money. Location was convenient - it took us less than an hour - The staff at this hotel, did much more than expected. I had a birthday cake delivered to my room a very pleasant surprise. Especially Stella.What ever we asked they went out of their way to help us. The best service we have ever had from all staff, in any place we stayed in Malaysia for 4 weeks, could not fault service, type of room & cleanliness.

  Rasa Ria is not a cheap resort but it is a lovely one. The rooms were well thoughtfully designed for the traveler - for once the room lighting was such that you could actually see in the room. What I liked the most about Rasa Ria was that some activities were included in the room price such as kayaking and sailing. The restaurants were also reason... vad folk säger » ably priced. I didn't get the feeling that I was always putting my hand in my pocket. The Orang-utan sanctuary was an added bonus. - I have been to many 5 star hotels but this is definitely one of the best for a family vacation. It has two wings - Ocean wing and Garden Wing. Both have a beautiful pool. The garden wing pool has a very nice slide for the kids. There are 3 restaurants which serve really nice food. We wanted to extend by 1 day but there was not a single room available!

  The manager Michael was particularly helpful especially when the washing machine flooded the kitchen and must say I am really grateful. All the washing of the half washed clothes and drying was done a his own time. - The manager speaks fluent English and mandarin . Very warm and helpful.

  The staff always made sure we had all we needed. The resort's private beach is exquisite and has a snorkeling trail for its clients. They also have a nice trekking path with a nice view of the tropical forest (an employee will take you there complimentarily). The spa was amazing as they have well trained professionals taking care of you. There are wild animals such as monkeys, - Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is fabulous and away from the hustle and bustle of town, very relaxing ambiance. Food is very good quality and plentiful. These people care about guests having an enjoyable time at the resort.

  Staff here were excellent in particular the concierge service (special mention to Sylver and Philip for going out of their way to be helpful and friendly). The Le Meridien is a nice, well presented hotel, the rooms are clean / nice and the pool area is fun and very well maintained. The breakfast buffet wasn't included in our package but we ordered... vad folk säger » room service for breakfast and that was very good, the poolside club sandwich we ordered was also good. So I would guess their chefs know what they a - Everything was fantastic. For such a large hotel the staff were extremely friendly. The service was excellent.. We loved the hotel location and the location of the gym looking over the sea would have to be the best location for a gym we have been in. We also really enjoyed the sundowner with the staff on the Wednesday evening. The f old at the restaurant was of a high standard and the service we could not fault. Thankyou for a superb stay!

  The room is clean, well maintenance, comfortable. We were all so amazing and have that home feeling when we first stepped into the apartment. We loved the room. Yet, the thing that light up our day and make the trip have a great start is the friendly and personal service from the staff.   Even though it is an apartment but they do daily housekeeping which I do not get when renting apartments in other places. This gives me a good feeling everyday when I come back from touring outside ... Clean room with clean towels. And the facilities is as per what it's stated in the website.
