  I loved the location of hotel, maybe not outside area but it was handy to buses and all areas when walking. The Hotel was beautiful only 9 rooms and staff very attentive. Breakfast was delicious. Scrambled eggs and Nasi Lemak was out of this world! - Staff were exceptionally good: friendly, efficient and couldn't do too much to help.   Great location - it was a few blocks away from Gurney drive. Palaquinn is also in the area of very good food! Such as the Pulau Tikus market, ans hokkien mee and mee goreng. Staff (Jennifer) was very warm and enthusiastic, she pointed out to me the nearby attractions and the places for good food. It was very spacious - with my own living room, balcony, bedroom ans open air bathroom, I felt like I had the whole house to myself. Great privac - The heritage house is very pretty, décoration inside is tasteful and original. Location is not in the historical centre but a 10min bus ride leads there easily, safely and cheaply until late at night. More over, staff is super friendly, super helpful and super sweet.

  The hosts of the hotel are pretty nice, also the unique stylish antique heritage houses are wonderful. The food served for the breakfast are tasty, and I have to say the fresh juice they prepared for the guests everyday are nice and sweet. Besides, the location make it a quiet living place in Pena - The unexpected funky interior design of the hotel is worth the praise. The owner and her staff were really friendly and helpful too; understanding and accommodating. We travelled as a group friends so we had to book 3 rooms and got the whole unit to ourselves which was awesome.   I like everything about the hotel! Love the saltwater infinity pool! Even though the swimming pool quite small, but its size is just nice for us to swim while enjoying the view. The owner of the hotel, Dr Chew, upgraded our room twice, for free! He gave us sea view room next to the swimming pool! We noticed that the owner made an effort to create ponds & plant/reserve existing trees albeit a small compound. Location away from the city with beautiful view of the sea & the city centre.   The building has been beautifully restored and the rooms are lovely. The location is perfect as a base from which to discover Georgetown. The staff were very helpful, even staying open until 13:00.(My ferry was late.)   We're a group of 9 stayed for 4 days 3 nights. We booked 2 triple room and 1 double room with extra bed. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful! On our first day of arrival, the reception staff introduced us list of things to do and place to visit in penang. Hotel room are clean and neat. Though is a budget hotel, we're allow choose our own typ... vad folk säger » e of pillow!! Great location, opp is the most famous penang char kuay teow stall. Mr Liau helped us pre-order the char kuay teow, unfortunately there - Stayed for two nights with two other friends and it was great! The room is very clean and looks new. Got to choose our own pillows. If you want anything (I.E.: praying mat, iron, hair dryer, etc), just ask and they will provide it with no charge. The staff are very friendly and informative. Near to the main road to catch a bus/taxi. Near to Komtar to catch the free bus trip around Georgetown (2km). Wifi is provided in the room. A great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

  Clean, clean .... It was very good place to stay! The air-con was exceptional! Very silent and proper cold!! :-). Staff very helpful and always attentive...specially a tiny Asian man that carried our backpacks into the room while we were checking in..... That was amazing and funny! To see this smaller man carrying our backpacks....( the backpacks ... vad folk säger » were bigger than him and really heavy) .... The hotel has an electronic gate... (Swipe in/out) which it make it safer... Great budget place!!! - The host is very nice and helpful. I am able to check in smoothly at around 11pm and he kindly suggest me a good place to eat. The location is convenient. It is near to Komtar Tower and can be reached by airport bus. A nice restaurant "Hong Kee" nearby and the congee is very nice. Hot and cold drinking water is provided. Snacks is also available at the self-help common area with resonable prices. Shower gel and tower is provided.

  Wow, it is my first time I has used a dorm, it makes me want to use it more. I like this hostel so much, a dorm only includes 4 beds, bathrooms are clean, staff is friendly, rate is reasonable. When I checked out, they still kept my luggage and let me have a shower. Breakfast is good, there are both Asian food and Eu food for your choice. We were 2 hours ahead of check in time but only needed to wait 15 minutes till we could receive the room. The room was new and clean, exactly like the picture advertised.
