  For our first "leisure trip abroad", we are glad we have chosen Seven Wonders Hotel. It was scary going into a country we did not know, and felt uneasy until we arrived at the hotel. The receptionist checked us in and spend quite some time explaining things about Wadi Musa and Petra which calmed us greatly. We visited Petra the following day and, though impress - I could write a book telling how this hotel and its staff are awesome. How I'm not a writer, I can only tell everyone who is planning a trip to Petra to know that this is a wonderful place to stay. I felt myself at home staying in my clean cosy room after long days of Big and Little Petra mountain climbing.   The best of the hotel is its close vicinity to the Petra gate. The Break fast is very good. The view from hotel is excellent. The staff is very nice and co-operative. The hotel is very good for budget traveler and family stay. The taxi services are available at walking distance. After having a long walk in Petra ruins and mountains, the hot water bath in hotel is very soothing. Always ask at reception to star - Location right behind the Movenpick at Petra gate so lots of restaurants to choose from and no need for taxis to Petra. Staff responded within 20 mins to an email asking for help getting Petra By Night tickets in advance for me and organised it all before we arrived. Rooms are old fashioned and basic by European standards but all clean and in full working order. Great value for money and would recommend it.
