  We stayed two nights at the Uotoshi Ryoken. Fantastic service. The owner and his sister were warm, welcoming and friendly. The owner spoke great English which made things a lot easier given we had very little Japanese at our disposal. The archery demonstration was suberb - the owner spent over two hours with me, both instructing me on the art and ... vad folk säger » the history behind it. The Ryoken is an easy five minute walk from the Yudanaka Rail Station and is easy to find. I'd thoroughly recommend staying at - The friendliness of the owner and his sister put us at ease after a long flight and train ride. The archery demonstration was very interesting, and the recommendation for the sumo wrestler restaurant was great. Plus, it was really nice to get a ride of the base of the mountain where the monkey park is located.
