  Great Location! Superb staff! Clean! Perfect!!!! What a beautiful surprise when we arrived at the hostel. It was situated in the heart of Tokyo, walking distance to most of the town's attractions. Ueno is a culturally rich area – it is embraced by a zoo ( the first zoo in Japan ), many famous Japanese museums and an extensive park. Also, the sh... vad folk säger » opping is great. A fun place, that offers the ultimate in recreation and relaxation. - Considering we were on a 3 week trip to Japan and that we visited many hotels and hostels during its span, I have to say that Tokyo Ueno Youth Hostel had the friendliest and most helpful staff we have come across. The general attitude of the employees towards the guests surpassed all of our expectations. Furthermore, it had great facilities such as efficient wireless internet which had proven to be hard to come by all over Japan. Overall, I would not give a better review to any other establishm

  Khaosan World Ryokan has many enjoyable features. The decor is a mix of vestiges of the former hotel and a contemporary version of the traditional Japanese tatami interior. The staff members were very welcoming and attentive. There is a kitchen and the hostel is near several Asakusa stations (figuring out which station was a little tricky). The premises are really convenient and the location is just perfect, we would definitely go back there again next time we come to Tokyo and recommend the place.

  The staff were friendly and helped make bookings at local places. The hostel always has a clean smell about it. The rooms have AC and are well sun blocked. The location is very convenient as it located literally next to two subway stations. As you walk out the front door, there is a restaurant with high quality food, a 7/11 where you can use the A... vad folk säger » TM or purchase quick snacks and there is even a local temple. All of these came in handy for a satisfying experience. Very close to Asakusa, which mea - Everything! The location is fantastic - right next to big sights (e.g. Senso-ji temple and Skytree), but far enough out to not be loud. The staff are really welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The hostel itself is superb and incomparable to most European ones I've stayed in both in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Plus, there's a free food and drink night every Wednesday, which is a fantastic way to meet new people!

  I stayed here for 11 nights, which we're all great and this hotel supported me in the best way possible. The staff was very friendly, sweet and helpful, making you feel welcome. It's also 1 minute walking from a Seven Eleven ( where you can also pin Yen ) and a supermarket. The metro is about 5 minutes walking and Asakusa about 15 minutes by foot.... vad folk säger » The hotel has a free umbrella service and a bike rental for only 500 yen a day. The facility's we're great and modern, the room was a bit small but h - The hotel location is quite good. About 700m to minami-senju station. I walk with my friends to Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa (Sensoji Temple). Other than that, there bicycle for rental. I rent the bicycle for half day (300 jpy) to ueno. For muslim, there a mosque (Masjid Dar Al Arqam) not far from the hotel (900 m). But there are no muslim restaurant nearby. The owner of the hotel is extremely a good person, help a lot in what ever things I ask.
