My partner and i stayed at City Nutz in 2011 and loved the room we got and the hospitality we received, the drink machine which offers three free drinks was just a bonus! (the rooms are not massive but nothing in Tokyo will be and it was perfect for two)

We loved the location and being just 2 short blocks from the subway station in the heart of Tokyo. It was very convenient and I would stay there again just because I know what I'm getting. It's definitely not the fanciest of places...but it was clean, had decent amenities, and worked for what we needed. Coffee maker, small fridge, interesting music system, tv. Very small rooms, not alot of space for your luggage, but it's Tokyo and you you don't get a lot of space for this price.

Rooms were reasonably sized for its prize. Everything was in good
condition. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Location is good,
but I recommend you to take a cab from Shinjuku station and remember the
route. Stayed there for 8 days from 10/03 to 18/03. Loved the
place, will definitely return in two years. -

I loved the beds! They were by far the most comfortable I'd ever
slept on in Japan. The Ladies' Twin Room was better than the Single
Room though. Very soothing decor and air purifiers included.
The location was excellent too, just a few streets away from the Shinjuku West Exit. Lots of great shopping in the area. -

Great location, was accessible to almost anywhere in Tokyo. Even
the outer districts are but a few stations away from a connecting
local line.
The A1 exit of Higashi-shijuku station is literally around the corner.
Staff were friendly and discreet; they also helped us to watch our luggage after we checked out so we could run last-minute errands.

I think the location is wonderful, it is colourful with plenty to do,
see and eat. Yes it is in a red light district but the Japanese touts
seem to ignore the non-Japanese people so you don't get hassled
however there seems to be a bunch of Jamaican guys passing themselves
off as Americans that will approach single males walking around (me)

The hotel is located in a very good position not far from Shijuku
station and nightlife area. It is quite new, Internet was working and
the single room is big enough to sleep well.

10 mn by foot from Shinjuku and the same from the JR station Shin-Okubo, so the situation is very good.
The hotel is very clean, and the staff very nice and helpfull. You have washing and drying machines. we were two in a room and we had enough space. The bathroom is large and clean, you have also separated toilets. The staff changes towels every

This is the second time I have been here after the first visit in July this year. This hotel was lovely as always, with helpful staff and clean facilities. Room was big and nice, computer can be used for free. Rather like a hotel, it is kind of a homestay for student so you can make sure it is safe though. And this hotel has a very big bathroom.

It was roomy, even for three people and incredibly cheap for its great and convenient location. We didn't spend much time in there except for sleeping/showering, but we found all of the amenities adequate with plenty of room for us and our things. The staff was also quite friendly and helpful. -
