  The proprietor stayed up late (close to midnight) for us because our plane arrived around 10:15 P.M. I had sent an email to him letting him know about our late arrival. The room and linen were very clean and the tea was delicious. I'm glad my daughter-in-law had the experience of sleeping on tatami.   Just about everything. Not only is it convenient from Haneda airport, I think it's really convenient from Narita airport too. Love the location, love the rooms. The sheets were super comfortable and the firmness of the bed was tip-top!   The hotel was really excellent in all aspects. It was a 10 min walk from the Shinagawa station on JR line providing easy access to the city areas like Harujuku,Tokyo Station, Shinjuku without the hassle of changing to another Metro line. It is also an extremely peaceful location away from all traffic which is a great plus in Tokyo. Staff was wonderful, spoke excellent English which was a relief for us as we are very limited in our Japanese. Very, very clean & very comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast at the Patio was delicious and featured both Western & Japanese food. Super easy access to all of Tokyo as the Shinagawa station is just a 5 minute walk, across the street from the hotel. So very easy to catch the Narita Express for our trip home to the usa.

  JAL City was in a great location, just 5 minutes from Tamachi station on the Yamaote line - very convenient to all major destinations. The hotel is very well run, predictable and clean. The staff spoke good English and very eager to help us with any question.
