  We stayed eight nights at Il Borgo di Campi. While crowds of tourists invade the area in August, you can find a peaceful and calm place at Il Borgo di Campi. The panorama is magnificent. Though there are dedicated places for the apartm - I loved my stay at Il Borgo di Campi. My husband, my parents, and I enjoyed two wonderful nights there last week. The views are unbelievable and the little cottages are quaint and have everything one could need. The restaurant was very tasty and not too pricey, and we really enjoyed chatting with the server.   Location was great, we had a great view from our balcony, we were able to see whole Riomaggiore and its sweet houses. We didn't mind to climb lots of stairs to get there. Otherwise that walk up the stairs to the town with luggage will be an adventure. Sandra and Paolo are wonderful, hospital people as are everyone in Corniglia. If you arrive by train you should climb very high stairs. Or use shuttle buss, which goes 1 time per hour and finishes at 19.35 .   My wife and I spent four nights here and loved it. After we arrived at the train station, the reception office for the apartment was easy to find (above tabacco shop up Main Street a bit). The apartment was clean and modern. It had a great little kitchen with all the utensils we needed as well as a dining table. Great place to stay! - The location was excellent, close to the Manarola train station. The bathroom was very good, spacious and good hot water but the shower head had a missing knob so it couldn't be anchored on the pole to the right height. And the safe also had a missing knob so wasn't usable.

  The two employees we interacted with - Eugeneo and Anna - were both great. They were helpful and friendly. Our "room" was actually a small home, with two small floors, with a narrow staircase in between. There was a bedroom upstairs and a kitchen and sitting room downstairs. We could see the water, but most of it was blocked by a vineyard hill and the other part of the town. - Gorgeous little true-Italian style living. This particular apartment is very easy access compared to some others further up the hill, yet it has a second high balcony which over looked the street. There were chairs and a table to sit out on the balcony and eat breakie in the morning which was lovely. Kitchen had all we needed, extra room came in handy to unpack suitcase..   Arriving into Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore was a dramatic Entrance. Beautiful coastal view directly from the train station. Hotel reception was on the main street called Via C. Colombo after walking through sidewalk tunnel. Walk up the steep street to find Roberto playing his piano and singing at the check in where you pick up room key. Very ftiend... vad folk säger » ly. You need to only travel with a 18" carry on because there are stairs everywhere. We had wheeled suitcases which helps a lot! The room was down th - It's nice experience to stay in one of cinque terra old houses with narrow and steep staircase along some alleys. The place is really clean though the building is old.

  The giant balcony with the awesome view on the village was great, I would stay there forever. Nice little kitchenette. Close to everything, the room is so cute and cozy :) - We had a great vacation at the Star fish. Beautiful terrace overlooking the town. The room was kept very clean and well supplied and the location was excellent.

(By the way, the town is not what you see when you get off the train- you have to take a tunnel to the town, stairs down to the marina area.) You can hear the waves crashing outside your room.
