The hotel is located just outside of Aosta, close to a road taking you to a number of great hikes. The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful-he let us choose the room we preferred, recommended a number of attractions and restaurants, provided with hot water to heat baby’s bottles and answered our numerous questions. The rooms are basic but you have everything that you need, enough room to put up a travel cot, the bed was big and very comfortable and the room and bathroom (and in fact the who. alla recensioner »
Owner was very friendly. Room was a tad shabby but he let us pick which one we wanted and for the price it was great! Nice little town to stay in.

Locationwise, easy access to Gran Paradiso national park. Good for a budget and as a stop re destination - easy access into France or indeed, into Italy.

There is a noisy stream behind the hotel :).
An old building next to a noisy main road so could hear traffic up until midnight and again from 6.30am.
Hollow walls - could hear everyone coming in, out, etc.
Shower cubicle small - not ideal for someone 6 ft 5!.
