  Best part of Cinque Terre is Vernazza. This apartment is close to the train station and so easy to get to. Great space, Bed was comfy and location was great. Perfect and great value for money! Can't believe some of the bad reviews this has. They aren't true and some ppl just have to get their heads out of their own ... You know whats! We spent hours just watching the locals and the flow of visitors moving up and down this main street - from the large window in the unit. It was close to everything we needed. We would stay here again without any hesitation. We would recommend you treat yourselves and stay here. Also great spot to base yourselves and explore the rest of Cinque Terra either by trails, train or ferry.

  When I arrived at Laconda Valeria I felt as though I'd arrived in heaven. Louisa is 'the staff' and she is kind, helpful and friendly. Ivan is the 'owner' (with his wonderful grandmother) and he went out of his way to taxi me into and out of Corniglia, a.m.'s and p.m.'s, as I didn't have a car. This B&B has to be in the most beautiful posit... vad folk säger » ion, with 'the' most spectacular vista in all of the Cinque Terre, right on top of the Mountain between Vernazza and Corniglia, right at the entrance - Locanda Valeria is in an indescribably beautiful location. You can see the ocean, some of the Cinque Terre towns, and the mountains all from the house. We loved it. The hike down to Vernazza is about 45 minutes and you can drive into Corniglia fairly easily in 5-10 minutes. They were so kind to us and our children. My son left is iPhone there and they are mailing it back to the States for us. We loved it and would not stay anywhere else when visiting the Cinque Terre. Thanks!

  The view from the our unit and rooftop deck was amazing - 360 degree view of the town, beach and hillsides. The sound of the waves on the beach below was great at night, and the train is far enough away not to be a problem. She has a lengthy family history - The location is AMAZING! We went to bed and awoke with the sounds the waves. The sunrise was to die for. We had a very delayed train ride (common in Italy) and were surpised by two things. 1. After calling Elisabetta, the keys were in our door with an nice post it saying our names. It was a great touch at 1am. 2.The place was very easy to find even for the directionaly challenged. The city itself was most amazing.   I strongly recommend this hotel. It's not one of the houses with sea views, but it also means you don't have to climb 1000 steps with your baggage before you reach those high-perched sea view rooms. It's 3 mins walk to the train station, which is very important, since you'll possibly use trains a lot to transport to and from other villages. Laundry, postbox and a small bank is also literally do - Owners were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and new. It is right next to the Pirate Cafe, which is adorable! The Cannoli brothers, twins who run the cafe, have wonderful pastries and food, and they are very entertaining. We liked that it wasn't right in the middle of everything.
