  very clean, very helpful staff, including a bag breakfast on our departure morning. very customer focused - The hotel is very well positioned in Venice. It is in a quiet area, but is also only a short walk to the major sights. Best of both worlds.

  A friend and I stayed at Hotel Canal Grande for three glorious days in February. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the central bus station. You can take a direct bus from Marco Polo Airport to this station for 6 euro. Ask for directions to the hotel once you arrive at the station. The walk is no more than 10 minutes.   The room exceeded our expectation. It was large, very clean, and updated. All of the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. - Hotel was of a good standard and had an excellent location. Staff were always courteous and helpful.

  Although the menu was the same each day, the food was plentiful freshly prepared. The breakfast room staff were very accomodating. The front desk staff were very attentive to any requests, very helpful and graciously answered our many questions, especially Carlos. The room and hotel was very clean and nicely furnished. It's a good value for the money spent in a city where some businesses easily gouge tourists. The staff are very friendly and accomodating, providing answers to every question we had. The breakfast is a cut above the standard European fare and the location can't be beat.
