  We were an elderly mother, with daughter and friend traveling together. We all liked our stay immensely. The B&B manager/owner lives on the property. He is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, informative, and responsive. Guests are treated to a welcome reception on the owner's private balcony which has a magnificent view of the surrounding area... vad folk säger » .   The owner and his daughter were very friendly and helpful to us. The location is excellent since it is in the center of Sulmona and one can easily walk around the beautiful town. It is also easy access to the mountains. The facilities is not fancy but basic and clean. The room we had was a very nice size, good wifi too. It worked. We got lots of advice about our following days travels and where best to visit, etc. We would highly recommend a stay at B&B Amores and will definitely use again if in the area.

  Il Marchese del Grillo was a delightful place to stay whilst in Sulmona. Marta - the owner, was most helpful with information on places to visit both in Sulmona, and the surrounding area. The breakfast was fantastic with a whole array of cakes, cheeses, meats, fruits, etc, and the staff always asked if we wanted any egg dishes which they made fres... vad folk säger » hly. We ate on the rooftop each morning, and had stunning views of the beautiful city of Sulmona. Monica deserves a special mention - she was so warm - The rooms were amazing , spacious with excellent linen and bedding. Very quiet location with free parking nearby. Also free WiFi onsite. The owners were extremely hospitable with excellent local knowledge and maps available for interesting day trips. Breakfast was a daily Gourmet Feast with large selection of local produce, Crostina, organic eggs and local meats and cheeses. A really superb Italian B and B experience which we all thoroughly enjoyed.

  I arrived drenched after my motorbike ride Salvatore my host helped me park my motorbike in their property, then drove me to the laundromat to dry my clothes even paying the €2 for the drier. Just in the center, at the piazza in Sulmona. Could not be better place. The staff were absolutely outstanding. They were personal to all guests, so we felt as kings !
