  1. Nice and hospitable hosts; 2. Great accommodation - 2 comfortable bedrooms, big and comfortable dining/cooking room, old furniture and modern kitchen ware; 3. Nice front-yard - 2 hammocks, quite big pool with a clean water, nice views, etc. 4. Spacious parking next to the room and beyond the fence; 5. An old castle right next to the accommodati... vad folk säger » on: there is a nice English speaking Lady-guide who offers affordable tours through the castle (on request, everyday 10 to 17 or so). 6. This accomod - Umberto and his family were so helpful and welcoming. La francigena is a lovely place to stay. The pool and gardens were the perfect place to spend each afternoon between sightseeing visits to the surrounding area. Our apartment was comfortable and spacious with esp comfortable beds, generous shower and lovely 1900s italian furnishings. Our kitchen and balcony looked right out onto the pool - perfect to keep an eye on the kids. We were just a short scenic drive away from monteriggioni, Sienna,

  Very friendly & helpful owners. Nice pool close to the house. Stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. Lovely Chianti & olive oil made on the Fattoria. Perfect location for visits to Siena & Florence &, of course, Montereggione. Large bed room with leather sofas and reasonable size bathroom. It was close to some beautiful places to visit. there was a Coop supermarket just 3 mins drive away at the Festival at Monteriggioni was worth visiting. We had a very relaxing stay though the breakfast was a little limited unless you like cake for breakfast.

  This was our first stay at La Segolina, but certainly not our last! The original old Toscany farm house, surrounded by nature, was beautifully renovated, and the rooms are lovingly decorated. We stayed in one of the apartments with kitchen, which was equipped with everything necessary to cook a meal. Special thanks to Maria Gracia and Antonio for having a very good and relaxing time a - Perfect location to tour around Toscana. Siena, Firenze, Volterra, San Giminiano and many other beautiful towns. The Chianti area and Col val D'Orsa are also near. La Segolina is a perfect choice for those who like biking or walking in nature. The apartment is nice and spacious. The hosts, Maria and Antonio will treat you like their own family. Iif you stay in La Segolina you'll surely taste Antonio's fantastic organic wine, enjoy the frangrance of Maria's lavendels.
