Very elegant hotel - beautiful interior design, gorgeous gardens, stately architecture, large room and very nice bathroom (bidet was a special touch) with lovely Italian ceramic tile. Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent

It was faultless. Even had turndown service! The staff were so helpful and the facilities excellent. Seemed more like 5 star than 3-4. Cant understand some of the comments on the LetsBookHotel.com site about distance from town - my 12 year old daughter had no problem walking this and there is a hotel bus that makes transfers at regular times. The hotel is located on a very scenic spot of Sorrento, on a cliff. My wife like the decoration and setting of the hotel, she ranked it the best hotel. This comment is not light considering we have traveled a lot over the past 30 years. The restaurant is one of the highlights of the hotel. They make gorgeous, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We stayed 5 days there and it was a very pleasant stay. Will recommend to anybody traveling to Sorrento.

Great staff!! Staff are friendly and profession. I met this staff called Lello at the frontdesk, very funny and friendly, he will do his best to remember everyone's name. For some personal reasons, I have to change my reservation from 4 night to 1 night. The great senior staff Lello help me a lot, so I didn't have to pay for the penalty. -
