  We stayed at Relais De L'Opera for our honeymoon in Rome and it was an excellent choice. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us. What a lovely gesture! The room was be - We are highly reccomend this hotel for the visitors. There all neccessary things for the rest and wonderful passtime. Good location on a quiet street, adjacent to one of the main street of the city, allows to get quickly to the all historical areas and of Rome. Clean renovated rooms, comfortable bed and lovely linens - a great opportunity to rest and recover after 10-12 hours of walking around the city. Staff attentive and friendly.   Decor - modern and appealing Breakfast was an added bonus, not normally expected in an apartment. Excellent location. - Rome is a great place to visit,we found the Romans friendly people but bad drivers(some insults were transmitted),having rented bikes made all the difference to visit the city,amazingly few people cycle around,the food is great ... vad folk säger » and the historical mambojambo is absolutely brilliant,staying in the middle of a city does mean you get woken by loud Italian men in the morning.....and they say women talk!!!....duh...   If you are looking for a great location, friendly, and budget-wised accommodation, it is the perfect place for you ! You can walk to all the major attractions.   The staff was amazing, extremely helpful, always smiling and attentive. The location was not bad, although restaurants around were not that great but it was a nice walk to piazza spagna and the shopping area which was very convenient. - Everything, great location, 3 minute walk to villa borghese and 10 minute walk to fontana di trevi and spanish ... vad folk säger » steps.   The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. I had a deluxe room and it was lovely - faciltities were good, nice shower, tv, safe, fridge - all you would ne... vad folk säger » ed. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

You can even see the top of the St. Peter's while swimming in the pool. - I had three wonderful days here and already want to go back. My room was compact but very comfortable and clean. I had a facial and a manicure and it was real luxury. The pool is fantasic for the centre of Rome as it allows you to have the best of both worlds. City at night /Poolside relaxation during the day

  It was ultra-contemporary with all the technology present designed for comfort of the guests. The room--we had a suite--was spacious and soothing. The staff was super-attentive, too.   This has a light breakfast included, decent size rooms but that's pretty much it regarding facilities. Stefano, was amazingly helpful and spoke excellent English. He offered a wonderful suggestion for a reasonable traditional Italian restaurant. The location cannot be beat, close to 2 Metro stops, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and you c... vad folk säger » an walk almost anywhere within 1/2 hour. - I loved the location (2 blocks from the Spanish Steps, shopping and restaurants ... and easily within walking distance of most major sites). The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful (including the cleaners, breakfast staff and the front desk, which provided really good dinner recommendations 3 nights in a row). Our room for 4 was in a loft-style room so I loved the extra space!
