At an altitude of 1125 metres and 2 km from Rocca Pietore, 3-star Hotel Camoscio overlook Mounts Marmolada, Pelmo and Civetta. It offers a spa and free winter shuttle to the slopes and the airport. Open since 1970, Camoscio Hotel includes mountain-view rooms furnished in typical Alpine décor with parquet or carpeted floors. They are complete with a satellite TV, sofa and bathroom with toiletries. Some have a terrace. The restaurant specialises in Veneto recipes, such as canederli dumplings, strudel cake and deer stew. Gluten-free options are made to order while breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet served in the restaurant. Common areas include a terrace equipped with deckchairs, a garden with ping-pong table, playground and benches. You can book a session at the sauna or Turkish bath, or take a dip in the hot tub. For an active holiday, guests can play tennis at a nearby tennis court or go skiing at the Malga Ciapela ski slopes, 8 km away.
