  We stayed eight nights at Il Borgo di Campi. While crowds of tourists invade the area in August, you can find a peaceful and calm place at Il Borgo di Campi. The panorama is magnificent. The stairs is definitely not exhausting and what is more an amazing sight appears before you from there. Though there are dedicated places for the apartm - I loved my stay at Il Borgo di Campi. My husband, my parents, and I enjoyed two wonderful nights there last week. The views are unbelievable and the little cottages are quaint and have everything one could need. The restaurant was very tasty and not too pricey, and we really enjoyed chatting with the server.   Location was great, we had a great view from our balcony, we were able to see whole Riomaggiore and its sweet houses. We didn't mind to climb lots of stairs to get there. I must say Riomaggiore is a good base if you would - This little place is in the perfect spot if you are arriving into the Cinque Terre by car. We found the staff awesome, Francesca emailed very comprehensive information as soon as we booked and was fabulous to deal with on the front desk.   It fit our family VERY well. Large beds and the staff was very nice. The location was perfect for our touring and we were able to take our vehicle into Cinque Terre, which was nice as well. I'd go there again. All the rooms have a fantastic view! Inside the rooms the queen size beds were separated by a door from the other beds, nice to have some... vad folk säger » privacy when traveling as a family. - Location just above Riomaggiore was unexpected, but turned out perfect with the mini-bus service across the road - would never have wanted to be driving all those steep, curvy, narrow roads. Loved the beautiful views from the terrace with our room, especially the bright stars at night. Staff was very nice and food was good. I feel we "lucked out" with booking Due Gemelli!

  Arriving into Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore was a dramatic Entrance. Beautiful coastal view directly from the train station. Hotel reception was on the main street called Via C. Colombo after walking through sidewalk tunnel. Walk up the steep street to find Roberto playing his piano and singing at the check in where you pick up room key. Very ftiend... vad folk säger » ly. You need to only travel with a 18" carry on because there are stairs everywhere. We had wheeled suitcases which helps a lot! The room was down th - It's nice experience to stay in one of cinque terra old houses with narrow and steep staircase along some alleys. The place is really clean though the building is old.

  The giant balcony with the awesome view on the village was great, I would stay there forever. Nice little kitchenette. Close to everything, the room is so cute and cozy :) - We had a great vacation at the Star fish. Beautiful terrace overlooking the town. The room was kept very clean and well supplied and the location was excellent.

  Absolutely amazing location and good price. Right in town. (By the way, the town is not what you see when you get off the train- you have to take a tunnel to the town, stairs down to the marina area.) You can hear the waves crashing outside your room.   The lady who greeted us there was really lovely, we arrived about 3 hours before checkin but she was very accomodating and friendly and let us have the room early. She was also able to give us some good advice on alternative walks in the area as the coastal paths were all closed at that time. Only 5 mins easy walk to train station. The room was wel - We were a bit unsure about staying/booking Banchi due to the lack of references, but it turns out to be over-think. Its totally worth the money, and we think its cheaper because its with less references now. The room we stayed at was newly renovated and spacious with its own shower. It was easy to find only around 10 min or less walk from the train station. We find the owner very friendly and adorable. Tip. we would suggest to give a specific arrival time frame to avoid waiting.
