  Loved that the location was so calm and peaceful. The facilities offered a large lounge room, plus large bathroom and bedroom. Felt very spacious. We opted to dine at the hotel's restaurant and were so thrilled with the food that was presented....a wonderful choice of dishes and so wonderfully cooked. Truly the best gnocchi!!!! The room is lovely, spacious, with nice bathroom and good mattresses. The dinner at the hotel should not be missed; the food is wonderful - a real find and quite reasonable. The breakfast was nice, not just sweets.

  A rare gem in the sicilian country side, situated in a valley on the north side of mount Etna with spectacular 360 degrees view. If you are looking for a place which combines the sicilian cultural he - This is a unique property - an old manor house, fully restored, a producing vineyard and an excellent estate wine that is well worth the modest price. The property is nothing less than dramatic - indeed it looks like a movie set, and could have been, for that matter since, as one of the owners told me, during WWII it was commandeered as a German military hospital, and subsequently taken over by the Allies for the same purpose.   The Petrara Resort is a charming agriturismo resort in Avola. During our stay there, there were no wandering farm animals except for a couple of cats. The pool is really big and kept clean and kids have plenty of room to wander about and play. We had a quadruple room which was quite spacious and very clean with quite comfortable beds. The parking spaces are numbered matching the room number so each guest has his own parkin - What a haven of peace & tranqulity set in beautiful gardens with a very inviting pool - we had a lovely time just wished we`d stayed longer.Our hosts couldn`t do enough for us and even followed us out in the morning to make sure we got on the motorway ok - thankyou for a very relaxing stay.

  Everything about our stay was ideal and perfect. We absolutely loved the hospitality that Guido and Ada provided, as well as their entire team. The beautifully decorated rooms in such a stunning setting, together with incredible food and wine, plus all the special little touches (such as fresh flowers in the room and even a chocolate bunny on East... vad folk säger » er!) were done in such great taste and thoughtfulness. The fruit and vegetables grown on site were amazing to enjoy for breakfast (especially the fres - The attention to detail was amazing. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The country setting was lovely. The only problems we had were returning at the end of a days outing in the car as the GPS did not pick up all the small roads. A very detailed map is important to have. As well there are one way streets in the nearby towns so you don't always follow the same routes leaving the hotel and returning to it.

  The staff were extremely friendly. They were helpful in giving usinformation and directions for visiting Mr Etna and also suggested wevisit a local festival.   The hotel has a beautiful setting. It was more luxurious than any other of the 7 hotels vi visited during our trip in Sicily. The tour around the well invested winery was very interesting. A wine tasting was arranged for the dinner. Excellent food and superb wines. Our favourite wine was Sanlore. It was a unique experience and so much better than staying in a big hotel. Very spacious and tastefully decorated in the style of old Sicily.

  The agriturismo is lovely... the lodgings are very pretty and spacious, having a lovely patio with views of the sea and surrounded by fields. We were picked up from the port which was also very convenient. We even dined at the restaurant on the first night and that was a great experience too. Also it's possible to rent a scooter in place. It's a beautiful island and it's very nice to move around (bicycle for short distances and a scooter for longer).

  Love and care was all around in the hotel - you could feel the genuine effort that the owners put into satisfying all the clients. The rooms were simple, but very nicely designed and very clean. The view from the hotel was spectacular - The hotel was in the mountains, but just 8 km from the beaches of sant' Anna which were really nic - Stunning sea view. Large & clean pool. Extensive breakfast with homemade cakes. Very nicely decorated place with great attention to detail. Extremely helpful staff who take genuine interest in their guests - all you have to do is ASK and Matteo (who speaks English well) will help you out. Owner offered us free lunch because our tour to Mt Etna had to be postponed from AM to PM due to car problems that he could not foresee.

  Our hotel location was the perfect middle of Trapani, and only blocks off the Mediterranean. We walked every day to shops, cafes, delis, restaurants, even historic Old Town. The kitchenette in our suite saved our budget and helped us savor Sicilian foods without high costs. The hotel and our room was always impeccably clean and secure. They treated us as if we were very impor - We liked everything about Fardella Centrale. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very modern with all facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. The owner is always present to ensure a comfortable stay. Parking facility is a plus to travellers going by car. Situated right in the centre of Trapani it is easily accessible to shopping and sightseeing.
