- Excelent staff, very helpful and friendly. They give you good advice on what to do, discounts for scooter renting and they even returned for us our scooter when we decided to leave in the first ferry. They also took us to the port by car.

Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh.
Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

The room was superb. - I had high expectations for this hotel, but we were still blown away by the conscientiousness of the staff, attention to detail in the rooms, and overall sense of precision. This is a lovely and very special place, and the breakfast doesn't disappoint! Even as a vegan, I found myself with more delicious options than can be properly sampled in a single meal. And a great view of Etna, too!

We had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was excellent and we were treated like royalty, room was super clean and nicely decorated with a beautiful patio leading to the thermal pool area, Alberto the receptionist made sure to make our stay a one to remember. I will definitely go back to the hotel on our next visit to Panarea -

Absolutely everything! For what you pay, you get a spacious nicely furbished apartment with all the facilities. A huge balcony with furniture and a bit of sea view. If anything extra needed, the owner is always around to help. They have a lovely modern bar downstairs, which also adds to the nice atmosphere. The Wi-Fi is available for free only there, but it is not a drawback considering everything together.

The location is perfect for the old part of Taormina and they run bus
transfers to a couple of beaches for €8 and €10. If you arrive by bus

Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff - a very pretty, small and intimate hotel. It had a very nice terrace area for relaxing in the heat of the afternoon and our room had its own private terrace too. Breakfast was extremely good, with lots of choice and some local specialities which we liked very much. Quiet, but convenient for the centre of Taormina.

The loaction may seem a little way-out but its a short walk to a good beach. The owner was really nice and helped us print our airline ticket in his house. There is a nice area for BBQ out the back, and a little retreat with hammocks. We would recommend this for a group of people to stay as the on-site bar/restaurant is a good place to chill. very comfortable altogether!

Loved the reception, both staff and room. When they gave us a ceramic bottle of water "old style, works by evaporation to keep the water cold", I knew we had landed somewhere "real". This was quite a find, and perhaps 2 kilometers from the ruins at Agrigento. The recommended restaurant, las pinetas, rounded out a perfect stay. -

From the moment the boat docked the hotel staff was there to take care of us. Thier van and took up directly to the hotel, bought us coffee and then took our bags to our room. The restaurant-Trattoria da Umberto was wonderful. They had wonderful food and were very accomadating to our children. The food was fresh and the menu had many options.

There was enough kitchen equipment to make self catering easy, as well as delicious Sicilian food in the restaurant next door. Excellent hotel, walking distance from the cable car going up Mount Etna.
We arrived late at night, but the man at the reception was extremely nice!! He explained all excursions, answered all of our questions (millions of them), and was able to share with us his love of the volcano. This certainly made our stay.
The room was great, super clean, wifi is great.
