  The view - Beautiful pool and location on coast. Great view from restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Single room was ok - a bit small, but had all the necessities.

  The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. We got the ... vad folk säger » bus from the airport which solved the parking problem, and was easy to use. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

  All staff in the hotel were amazingly helpful. Their knowledge of the local area was really useful. The hotel is in a great location for historical sites. Easy to find and with it's own parking, it is an ideal location to explore the city of Siracusa. The Rooftop pool is a great way to relax. Our Double room had striking modern furnishings, a harbour view & wasn’t too noisy – a higher floor would have somewhat reduced the noise but - Great location for Eolian islands cruises. Stayed in triple room (suite) and it was very spacious. Bathroom very nice. We didn't had breakfast included, but we had dinner one evening. The service was very good and the food delicious.

  We were upgraded to a suite for the room price, the chef cooked to order for us on two occasions, the meals were delightful. The staff were very friendly and helpful - The Spa like attitude of the hoteland the way it was set up.The resturant was excellant.

Although the hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to the Autostrada and just a short drive to Ortigia Indoor pool is nice.   The Hotel Livingston is on the edge of the island of Ortigia. When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. It's easy to walk to anywhere in Ortigia from there. Or just to swim in the sea and sunbathe on the rocks. - We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

  The general staff attitude was excellent. English was well spoken and there were no serious communication difficulties. Although dining was a bit of a bear garden the choice of food was perfectly satisfactory, wine was included and there were no difficulties with teenagers having second or third helpings. The range of pools, tennis courts, footb... vad folk säger » all etc, and entertainment generally seemed well designed for families. Lots of people seemed to be enjoying themselves including groups of children i - The hotel is set in the lovely location between trees. It has excellent sporting facilities (including 50m swiming pool) as well as a little decking along sea front where you can rest and enjoy lovely views.
