  The interior courtyard is beautiful, an oasis of greenery and calm in a town with not much of either. The owners were extremely friendly and solicitous. The facilities were both functional and artistic. Very pleasing interiors and landscaping. Good breakfast. Excellent value for the money. The man speaks German very well, English a little. His wife doesn't speak English but was very sweet. They are very childfriendly. Nice clean rooms which are beautifully decorated, there is a jacuzzi in the garden. Great breakfast with self baked pastry. Cabras is a lovely town with lots of beautiful nature , beaches and archaelogic places surrounding it.

Very hospitable family of owners who are ready to help to solve at any time any problems. Magnificent joint dinners, both on the friendly atmosphere, and on offered local dishes. What regret about visits of this place I didn't test. On a ratio o - the place is very nice, up on the mountain, fresh air and wonderful surrounding. Family that works there are such a nice people. Mother prepares dinner, you sit all together with other tourists, share, enjoy delicious food, wine and have a nice long talking evening with son Marco. Its a simple, cozy place that i never saw before and always would like to come back!

  Staff was just amazing, the views and surroundings are great and is strategically well placed inland but close to few beaches. Better if you go by car and with a GPS, at night can be tricky to get there for first timers. The food felt great and natural, made up with lots of care and a fair amount of farm products (some of the best veg I've ever ta... vad folk säger » sted and also a good pecorino). They also have home-made liquors (try out their Mirto). The room was clean, spacious and had a nice view. The whole pl - The food was amazing! And the surrounding views of the mountains and countryside breathtaking. The location was remote but even if you don't travel here by car the staff are always at hand to help you with arrangements for local excursions.

  We stayed with Antonello & Vanna for the second successive year at their delightful and well-located house. Everything there is clean, calm and tasteful. An Oasis in the city! We were given a luxurious room overlooking the tranquil garden and made to feel most welcome throughout our stay. He also arranged a table for dinner at probably one of the most popular restaurants in - Our host Antonello could not have been kinder or more thoughtful. He gave us a conducted tour of the city by car and regularly produced intineraries for our trips out. The breakfast was excellent. The bedroom was comfortable and drinks were availablle from a fridge in the room at very reasonable prices. The house contained fascinating memorabilia and we had use of the courtyard when we wanted it.

We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

  Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. Communication with the manager, Matteo, was excellent and he was very friendly and helpful with everything - not to mention all the great insider tips he had for us! We were glad to be there in the low season, when Cala Gonone is almost empty (i.e. no tourists), - We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. It was a lovely welcome, followed up by an offer of coffee and cake with Giovanna and Bruno. Quite simply the nicest welcome you could get. Our apartment gave us a perfect, eleva
