  Very pleasant and helpful staff in this very modern hotel. Rooms are well appointed if a little starkly white and black in decor. Lovely breakfast served until 11.00 which was welcome as we had had a tiring journey. Excellent location next to train station, and close to the beach and port for boats to Portofino. Great staff that helped with our plans for exploring Cinque Terre. il Nostromo is a great restaurant in the street infront of the hotel (Tuna Tartar for appetizer, Pistachio crusted fish for main course and Tiramisu for dessert - Best meal of the trip).

The modern design in an old building was very creative. Owner Patrize was there to answer questions and make good recommendations for touring and eating out. Great market across the street. We stayed for 3 nights and used it as a base for touring Cinque Terre and Portoverne. Enjoyed time in evenings walking around LaSpezia.

  Me and my husband loved everything that this hotel had to offer. The room and the hotel itself were clean, the stuff was very helpful and friendly, especially the young lady called Anna, who was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the history of the place and city of Sanremo. The town offers a decent selection of restaurants as well as shopping. Hotel De Paris is situation next to the Casino at the "entrance" to the old town and shopping district.Beachside and habour are a 10-15 walk away.

  The hotel is perfectly placed on the water- I highly recommend the sea view rooms. The walk from the train station wasn't bad at all, and we had no trouble finding the hotel. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Although no parking across the hotel on Wednesday, we easily found parking across the street and it was not very expensive.   The hotel was new, fresh and clean. The location was perfect for the old port area in Genua and the hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a typical American continental breakfast -- in other words quite boring, but that is the only complaint we have. - Right in de middle of the centre.
