The B&B is tucked away. The large rooms are clean and provide all the facilities. Maria, Claudia and Roberto are very helpful hosts - who are keen to make your stay and any local visits to the archeological sites as perfect as possible. The B&B is less than ten minutes walk to the Naples/Sorrento train station and also 10 minutes from the main entrances to historic Pompeii. The main shopping centre of Pompeii is a 15-20 minute stroll and has many restaurants.

We spent 5 nights in the hotel. Generally it is a good standard hotel. Not in the very centre, but with good communication to the centre (tram and circumvesuviana train-station Centro Direzionale). The front esk reception area personnel were outstanding and gave great service. I want to particularly site lia as most helpfull. Alphonse, Roberto, and Leonardo were very accommodating. The food service personnel did a terrific job including Ciro and Alphonse. They are added an immeasurable dimension to our stay. Please extend our thanks to them.

The room was very neat and clean. The breakfast was very good, and well organized. This was one of the best places we stayed at over our four weeks on the continent in terms of value for money, staff, helpfulness. Fantastic hotel with great staff. We arrived early and were able to check straight in. The hotel is quiet and spotless, easily the cleanest I have stayed in whilst travelling around Italy for 5 weeks. Upon returning to Hotel Rivamare, we were so warmly welcomed, it felt like coming home to family. Our beautiful oceanview room with terrace was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and eating on the terrace in front of the sea was exceptional. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ischia and, already, I can't wait to return. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.
