  Everything - we visited the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The scenery and location was perfect. The hotel staff were fantastic throughout our stay ; the local food and wine were excellent. If your coming from America, expect room to be smaller than we're used to. We had a small room for the price of a suite in Vegas. The room has everything you will need. He even noticed that it was my birthday on the second day of stay and sent a very nice champagne with compliments that made the stay memorable.   This was our fourth stay at this hotel. Our previous 3 stays occured during the years that the hotel was a JW Marriott. The hotel has been completed refurbished and it is beautiful. The new feeling is one of a boutique hotel with an intimate feeling. The entire staff went out of its way to meet our every need.   Hotel Poseidon is perfectly placed in the beautiful Positano with beautiful views across the bay. It has a lovely charm. The terrace is a relaxing place for drinks and just to take in the views. Or a quick dip in the pool which although a little small provides the chance to cool off. The main part of the town is a short walk down the hill. The room, a superior, was clean and comfortable. - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. The views are magical. We felt at home at this hotel. The balcony off the room was perhaps the best room feature we have experienced and the robes and slippers were a nice touch.
