  It is an extraordinary property. Much of the original architecture still exists which makes it a very unique place. The location and view are unbelievable, the rooftop pool and garden are gorgeous, and the food is excellent.   Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Antonietta, Giovanna and their staff!! The hotel looks great and our room was clean and a good size with a patio area leading to the garden. All in all, Orsa Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with excellent owners and - Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

  During a 2-week trip to Italy this great hotel was the highlight. The stunning views of the bay of Naples from our room and the beautiful dining room/ restaurant were a joy! The staff are super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a nice variety (including tasty omelettes and cappucinos). The hotel is close to a bus stop (orange/ red buses into town and the train station, blue Sita buses to Amalfi an Positano). We, - The hotel is located on a very scenic spot of Sorrento, on a cliff. My wife like the decoration and setting of the hotel, she ranked it the best hotel. This comment is not light considering we have traveled a lot over the past 30 years. The restaurant is one of the highlights of the hotel. They make gorgeous, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We stayed 5 days there and it was a very pleasant stay. Will recommend to anybody traveling to Sorrento.

  Perfect hotel, very friendly staff, clean and very comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and warm pool. It takes some time (15 minutes) to reach the sea. But for us it was positive moment - it is so nice to have walk.   Great settings and views, great to just chill but you need a car or taxi to get to Ravello centre, taxi was about €25 which we thought was quite cheep.   that's an oasis in the centre os naples! we reached the hotel by foot from the central railway ctation - there was rubbish everywhere while we were going, but caracciolo appeared like a miracle)) by the way, naples has it's own charm and i like it, but the difference is enormous on the first sight)) - Beautiful hotel with nice facilities.
