  This is a great hotel in a great location--a real gem. From what I can tell, all the rooms have a balcony overlooking the sea and the view is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the meals were simple but very good.   Breakfast is amazing: tasty and varied. Every day there were different kind of cakes, fruits, cookies besides main couse. Staff is very personal, helpfull and friendly. This lovely family helped me to find tennis trainer (there is tennis cort near the sea). There's a human touch to everything. There's a lot of warmth. Air conditioning is avail - This was so quaint and comforting. An American size shower so you can actually move around! A great view from our window onto the street and some water view. Super friendly owner and staff. Great breakfast buffet and a nice sized dining room. When we told the owner our mini fridge wasn't working it was immediately replaced. The hotel was clean, and we would definitely go back .

  The location was excellent-in Lacco Ameno so close to the beach and restaurants and also in easy walking distance of Negombo. The hotel has its own heated swimming pools and one is inside so even if the weather isn't great you can still relax.   Warm, welcoming and helpful staff. Large swimming pool and heated thermal pool. Although a bit out from the old town where most of the restaurants and bars are (about 10 minutes walk) it's only a short walk to the beach and there is a bus stop right outside to get you into town (just 3 stops) or around the island.

  Well situated, a lovely 15 min walk into town. Beach 8 mins down the hill. Clean, simple, effective. We hired a car (40E pd) to explore the island. Perfect size to do that. - Friendly and helpful reception staff, handy for beach and town by foot - albeit a 20 minute walk is good for us.

Given hotel is on the side of a hill the hotel runs a regular minibus service to/from Forio town center, hotel has its own thermal bath - Everything was excelent! But you should remember - it's high on the hill.
