  It is an extraordinary property. Much of the original architecture still exists which makes it a very unique place. The location and view are unbelievable, the rooftop pool and garden are gorgeous, and the food is excellent.   Everything! Once we arrived to the resort we all agreed that we had arrived to a paradise. To sum it up: -The service was attentive and impeccable (special thanks to Luciano!) - Rooms were very luxurious and comfortable and staff made every attempt to make your stay to the highest standards. - Grounds were amazing. Only regret is that we didn't stay - The hotel is amazing, I highly recommend it if you are in Ischia, the best value for money we had in Amalfi coast. The hotel is located in big garden area,has its own private beach, nice kitchen, super service, special thank to Salvatore, Manager in the restaurant. You really feel special, rooms are very fresh, staff is highly attentive to your requests, the hotel has a nice spa area and good gym.

  Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Antonietta, Giovanna and their staff!! The hotel looks great and our room was clean and a good size with a patio area leading to the garden. All in all, Orsa Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with excellent owners and - Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

Villa Rocla is about a 15 minute walk to/from Pompei Scavi (both the excavation and the train station. You can take the circumvesuviana line to Sorrento, Napoli, Ercolano (Herculaneum). From Villa Rocla the town of Pompei is about a 25 min walk on foot along a footpath. - The B&B is tucked away. The large rooms are clean and provide all the facilities. Maria, Claudia and Roberto are very helpful hosts - who are keen to make your stay and any local visits to the archeological sites as perfect as possible. The B&B is less than ten minutes walk to the Naples/Sorrento train station and also 10 minutes from the main entrances to historic Pompeii. The main shopping centre of Pompeii is a 15-20 minute stroll and has many restaurants.
