  Greatest asset is the sea! This is a beautiful, tranquil hotel in a dramatic location with wonderful use of natural stone and stylish Italian design, excellent staff, boat trips and a lively town which is just a short walk (20 mins), bus ride (enjoyable) or taxi ride away. Fascinating island with the possibility of visiting other Egadi islands on... vad folk säger » superb, fast ferries. This hotel is in a beautiful landscaped site with the possibility of visiting a larger, linked hotel with pool, if desired.   Absolutely loved our stay! Cava Rossa is the best beach I have ever seen! My daughter and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer! The hotel was extremely clean and in a beautifully relaxing setting. The hotel has bikes for rent, and we easily biked to nearby beaches for snorkeling and swimming. The town is accessible by 5 min bike r... vad folk säger » ide, but bring a flashlight as the street the hotel is on is not well lit. Loved the fun and whimsical painting decor as every room has a color theme - It is not a luxury hotel, but everything is set up with excellent taste and character. Personnel was very helpful and friendly and we could enjoy a very confortable and spacious apartment with terrace. The bar has a jacuzy for relaxation and the prices at the bar were very reasonable. Bicicles are available at 5 euro/day
