  Well situated close to train(10 min. Walk) which we used to go into Florence. Close to town center. Rooms were large,clean,and functional.   Our goal was to visit Tuscany and in particular Florence and the surrounding area. Hotel Giardino's close proximity to the RR station (3 minutes) made it an excellent choice .   The manager is extremely helpful and considerate. She contacted us before we arrived, to offer assistance with travel. The apartments have a lot of character and are comfortable and well equipped. Our bathroom was spacious.

  When we arrived at the hotel after driving from Castellammare di Stabia we arrived early but the staff were so accommodating. The hotel seems to give the tired impression but this is so wrong. Our roof was on the third floor facing the front of the hotel it was a really nice room to be in unlike some hotels. The location of this hotel is great if visiting Florence by train as the station is maybe ten minutes walk from the hot - The hotel is conveniently close to the train station and on the edge of historical city. The're a lovely (and cheap) gelato shop just accross the street from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and assisted us with finding a traditional Italian trattoria's (tipical Italian family restaurants) to dine the evening. They gave us a map as well to assist with exploring the city and find our way!
